A postcard from a far away friend

Did not have time to make any new painting due to busy schedule only during the last few days manage to take a break due to long holidays for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration (muslim celebration after fasting for a month). During the long break i spend sometime to draw the postcard picture sent from a good friend at Japan when he and his girlfriend visited one of the Kyoto shrine. The postcard shown a rows of lamps leading to the shrine which are blanket with heavy show and moonless night.

Hope you like the painting
